Wagan Tech iOnBoost™ V10 TORQUE

Wagan Tech iOnBoost™ V10 TORQUE For Practical Roadside Power And Starting Assistance When a vehicle battery leaves you stranded, the most useful equipment is the equipment that is already charged and ready to use. The iOnBoost™ V10 TORQUE provides a self-contained jump-starting solution without requiring another vehicle to provide the initial boost. Its 1,000 peak amp output and 500 cranking amp rating are paired with a rechargeable 45.0 Wh Lithium-ion Polymer battery and heavy-duty booster clamps. It also does more than jump-start a vehicle. Two USB power ports, including one rapid-charge port, provide 2.0A output per port, while the 12V DC accessory outlet can power compatible 12V equipment. A built-in LED flashlight adds solid, strobe, and SOS lighting modes for situations where visibility matters. Wagan Tech iOnBoost™ V10 TORQUE Features For Everyday Vehicle Preparedness 1,000 Peak Amps For Convenient Jump Starting The iOnBoost™ V10 TORQUE delivers up to 1,000 peak amps and 500 cranking amps for vehicle jump-starting applications. Wagan identifies the unit as ideal for cars, vans, SUVs, trucks, and more. It is designed for 12V negative-grounded systems, so always confirm your vehicle's battery configuration before use. 45.0 Wh Lithium-Ion Power So You Can Carry Starting Assistance Instead of depending on another vehicle during a roadside emergency, the iOnBoost uses its own rechargeable 45.0 Wh four-cell Lithium-ion Polymer battery. The unit should be fully charged before first use and recharged after use or every three months during extended storage. Heavy-Duty Booster Clamps For A Secure Connection The included 10 AWG, 13-inch jumper cables connect the iOnBoost to the vehicle battery. The smart cable safety block uses indicator lights to help identify connection and warning conditions, including reverse polarity, short circuit, reverse charging, overheating, and insufficient charge. Safety Protection For More Confident Operation Multiple built-in protections are provided to help monitor the jump-starting process. The unit includes reverse polarity protection with an alarm, short-circuit protection, over-discharging protection, reverse charging protection, overheat protection, and overload protection. Follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully whenever connecting the clamps. Reverse polarity protection with alarm Short-circuit protection Over-discharging protection Reverse charging protection Overheat protection Overload protection Dual USB Ports For Charging Compatible Devices The iOnBoost™ V10 TORQUE doubles as a portable USB power source. It includes two USB power ports, with one rapid-charge port, and each is rated for 2.0A output. Connect compatible mobile devices using a user-supplied cable, then press the Power button to activate the USB ports. 12V DC Output For Compatible Accessories A 12V DC accessory outlet expands the unit beyond vehicle starting assistance. The specified DC accessory outlet is rated at 12V, with the manual listing 15V and 5A in its specification. Use only a compatible accessory plug and avoid overloading the port, as an overload can activate its self-resetting circuit breaker. LED Flashlight For Better Visibility When You Need It Roadside problems do not always happen in daylight. The built-in LED flashlight offers three lighting modes: solid, strobe, and SOS. A long press can turn the light on or off, while short presses cycle through the available modes. If the battery becomes low, the flashlight will shut off to help protect the unit. Real-World Applications For Drivers And Mobile Power Needs The iOnBoost™ V10 TORQUE is primarily a vehicle-focused portable power and jump-starting tool. Its combination of starting assistance, USB charging, 12V DC output, and lighting makes it useful for situations where a compact emergency power source is more appropriate than a larger portable power station. Roadside emergencies — Keep jump-starting capability available when a compatible vehicle battery needs assistance. Daily driving — Carry USB charging capability and a flashlight alongside your vehicle emergency equipment. RV and travel use — The unit can provide a convenient vehicle starting aid for compatible 12V negative-grounded systems. Camping and outdoor trips — Use the flashlight and compatible USB or 12V accessories when portable power is useful. Work vehicles — Keep a dedicated jump starter and accessory power source available for compatible vehicles and equipment. This product is not a substitute for a large portable power station or whole-home backup system. Its 45.0 Wh battery and outputs are intended for the specific functions described by the manufacturer, particularly vehicle starting assistance and smaller USB or 12V power needs. How The Wagan Tech iOnBoost™ V10 TORQUE Compares To Typical Alternatives A traditional jump-start using another vehicle requires access to a second vehicle and suitable jumper cables. The iOnBoost™ V10 TORQUE instead carries its own rechargeable battery and booster cables, giving drivers a dedicated starting-assistance option. Compared with a large portable power station, the iOnBoost is much more focused. It does not provide the broad AC power capabilities associated with larger backup systems. Instead, its design centers on vehicle jump starting, USB charging, 12V DC accessory power, and emergency lighting. It is also different from a conventional lead-acid jump starter because the manual specifies a four-cell Lithium-ion Polymer battery with 45.0 Wh of capacity. For buyers who specifically want a rechargeable lithium-based jump starter with additional USB and 12V functions, this focused design can make more sense than carrying a much larger power system. Buyer Guidance For Choosing A Portable Vehicle Jump Starter The iOnBoost™ V10 TORQUE may be a good fit if your priority is having dedicated jump-starting capability available without relying on another vehicle. It is particularly relevant for drivers of cars, vans, SUVs, trucks, and other compatible vehicles who also want USB charging, 12V accessory power, and an integrated flashlight. This May Be A Good Fit If You want a rechargeable vehicle jump starter with a 1,000 peak amp rating. You need a portable starting aid for a compatible 12V negative-grounded vehicle. You want USB power for compatible devices in addition to jump-starting capability. You need a 12V DC accessory outlet for compatible equipment. You want a built-in flashlight with solid, strobe, and SOS modes. You prefer a dedicated jump starter rather than carrying a larger portable power station. Before purchase and use, verify that your vehicle is compatible with the specified 12V negative-grounded system. The manufacturer also advises checking the vehicle owner's manual, particularly for vehicles equipped with onboard computers. The iOnBoost should not be used below 80% charge for jump starting, and the supplied jumpstarting clamps and charging adapters should be used as directed. Care And Charging For Reliable Readiness Preparedness depends on maintaining the equipment you expect to use during an emergency. The iOnBoost™ V10 TORQUE takes approximately seven hours to fully recharge according to the manual. It can be charged from a USB power source, including an AC wall adapter or the supplied DC charging adapter. When charging in a vehicle, the engine must be operating. For longer-term storage, Wagan recommends recharging the unit every three months even if it has not been used. Store it at room temperature and keep the clamps secured in their storage covers. The specified operating and storage temperature range is 32°F to 140°F. The manual also states that the battery is not consumer serviceable and should not be removed or replaced. When the battery reaches the end of its service life, the entire unit should be taken to a battery recycling facility.
