W15 Greensboro

DENIM W15 Greensboro is the first heavy weight denim in our Wythe cut -- and the last of our Cone Mills White Oak denim. A bittersweet production run. The “White Oak” name comes from an old 200-year-old oak tree that stood on the property when the facility was built around 1905. It closed its doors in December, 2017 after an amazing 100+ year run of creating some of the world's finest denim. We purchased this denim that month when the mill closed its doors.  - 15oz selvedge denim - 100% cotton - Indigo warp x white weft - Dark indigo with a green cast - Slight horizontal and vertical slub - Right hand twill - Greensboro, NC (USA) CUT Wythe (W): High rise, relaxed straight leg.  The Wythe is our classic fit inspired by leading men of the 1950s, with a high rise and relaxed straight leg that is a true straight leg from the knee down to the leg opening.
