Whirlpool Crisper Drawer (W11162443)

The Whirlpool Crisper Drawer is a removable refrigerator bin that holds produce in the fresh food section. It slides in and out to give access to fruits and vegetables while keeping them separated from other items. The drawer helps contain spills and supports organized storage inside the refrigerator. Common failures include cracking from impact or heavy loads, chips along the front edge, and broken tabs or rails that guide the drawer on its supports. Warping can occur over time, which may cause the drawer to bind or sit unevenly. Damage often happens when the drawer is overfilled, slammed shut, or removed and reinstalled repeatedly. You may need to replace this part if you notice any of these symptoms: The drawer is cracked, split, or has sharp edges The drawer does not slide smoothly or keeps sticking The drawer tilts, sags, or will not sit level The drawer falls off its supports or will not stay in place Tabs, corners, or the front lip are broken or missing Spills leak through because the drawer is damaged
