Whirlpool Bottom Oven Panel (W11098799)

The Whirlpool Bottom Oven Panel is the interior floor panel that lines the bottom of the oven cavity, protecting the base of the oven and directing heat evenly across the cooking space. It sits just above the bake burner in this freestanding gas oven and acts as a barrier that helps distribute heat while keeping grease and spills away from the burner assembly below. The Whirlpool Bottom Oven Panel can become damaged from prolonged exposure to high heat, heavy cookware being dropped inside the oven, or corrosion caused by spills that are left to bake onto the surface over time. Cracks, warping, or holes in the panel can disrupt heat distribution and expose the burner area to grease and debris, creating a safety concern and affecting cooking performance. These symptoms can help you decide if a damaged bottom oven panel is the cause of your problem: - Visible cracks, holes, or warping on the floor of the oven cavity - Uneven cooking or hot spots that were not present before - Grease or food debris falling through to the burner area below - Discoloration, buckling, or rust on the oven floor panel - Unusual smells or smoke coming from the bottom of the oven during use - Difficulty cleaning the oven floor due to deep pitting or surface damage
