UNDER ARMOUR Women's Charged Assert 10

The Under Armour Women's Charged Assert 10 is an entry-level neutral running shoe built for versatility, comfort, and cross-training. It is ideal for casual runners, gym workouts, and daily wear.  Key Specifications Midsole: Compression-molded Charged Cushioning® foam provides optimal responsiveness, impact absorption, and energy return. Upper: Lightweight and breathable mesh combined with synthetic and leather overlays to lock in your midfoot for enhanced stability. Insole: Built-in EVA sockliner offers immediate, soft, step-in comfort. Outsole: Solid rubber covers high-impact zones to maximize durability without adding excess weight. Weight & Drop: Weighs approximately 8.9 oz with a 10mm heel-to-toe drop.  Performance Insights According to performance reviews from RunRepeat, the midsole and outsole offer excellent value and traction for daily movement. However, testers note the engineered mesh upper has low durability against abrasions, though a reinforced toe cap prevents immediate holes. Extensive testing from OutdoorGearLab highlights that while it is a serviceable option for casual walking and light workouts, an oversized heel collar can cause minor sock slippage during serious road running. Reviewers on YouTube heavily recommend it as an affordable, all-around cross-trainer for gym sessions involving light running, rowing, and cycling.
