VX CONTROL KIT SHIFTER

The entire VX Shifter product line are heavy-duty, precision floor-mounted shifters designed to give you complete manual control over your automatic transmission. They are commonly used in off-road, rock crawling, and performance applications where quick, direct gear selection is essential. The VX Control Kit Shifter by RAD Designs expands on the standard VX Floor Shifter by integrating an electronic control module. This kit allows for even more precise control over automatic transmissions like the AW4, A340, 6R80, and other electronically controlled units. It bridges the gap between manual control and the electronic aspects of modern transmissions. If You Want Both Mechanical and Electronic Gear Control (AW4 or A340 in a dual-purpose build), the VX Control Kit Shifter gives you the best of both worlds – manual shift control and solenoid-based locking. Many stock TCUs prioritize fuel efficiency and emissions over performance, leading to slow, unpredictable, or unwanted gear shifts. The control kit overrides these automatic shifts, letting you manually select and hold gears. The VX Control Kit Shifter comes with a 5ft heavy duty shift cable, all the needed brackets and hardware, extra stops of various lengths and mounting brackets for the shifter. Gate patterns can be fwd, rev, direct to reverse from fwd gears.
