THICK ALUMINUM   VW to Chevy Adapter Plate This Pro-werks aluminum motor plate adapts Chevy Powerglide, Turbo 350 & 400 transmissions, or a Chevy bolt pattern clutch type bell housing, to a VW 4 cylinder air-cooled engine. This unique Adapter / Motor plate includes the transmission locator dowel pins to ensure accurate alignment. Measures 1/4" thick, 24" wide by 24" tall - plenty of material for finish mounting in most applications.   Accurately Machined is Better Your browser does not support our video. All of the Pro-werks Motor Plates are precision CNC machined from premium 6061-T6 aluminum to exact tolerances for optimum fit and finish. The accuracy obtained from CNC machining is superior to die stamping, laser or water jet cutting methods that have grown to be popular by other manufacturers.
