If you’ve always been a big fan of vinyl, gone the whole nine yards with a slew of different gear and systems over the years but no longer have the time, patience (or keen eyesight) for meticulous set up rituals and constant adjustments, the VPI Player may be the perfect player for you." - MK CHONG Reviewing VPI Player’s Lifestyle Turntable - Read More "Don’t forget this is an easy to use, plug-and-play lifestyle product aimed primarily at beginners who want rather more elegance and élan in their vinyl source, or those who might be a little nervous of hi-fi in general. For those people who are not interested in upgrades, tweaks and all of that slightly scary audiophile stuff, the VPI Player provides admirable sound quality and an excellent build standard, together with a host of features that require no setup and tweaking to work. A quality machine, the Player is an ideal entry point into the glorious world of vinyl."    VPI PLAYER TURNTABLE: THE COMPLETE PACKAGE? - Read More "In sonic terms, the Player sounds excellent in its current configuration. With a focus and a precision across the frequency range that allows detail to run freely while tackling all of the sonic basics very well indeed. Anyone buying the Player ‘as is’ will have no complaints. "   VPI PLAYER TURNTABLE WITH BUILT IN PHONO PREAMP/HEADPHONE AMPLIFIER – ANALOG SENSATIONS - Read More " To the question of does the Player rise to the level required to compete with digital, I think the answer is a resounding yes. While vinyl is a lot more demanding than digital, requiring both quite a ritual to listen to and much greater attention to the music, it can be a very rewarding experience for someone who wants to be totally immersed in the experience of music."   VPI Player Turntable | REVIEW - Read More "The VPI Player could be a solid endpoint for some buyers. As I would not scoff at anyone who decided that the Player was far enough down the rabbit hole. It is good enough that one does not need to see its ownership as temporary. The Player delivers on everything the twentieth century promised the vinyl and hi-fi experience to be, for just $1,500 USD. " - Eric Franklin Shook   VPI Player turntable review - Read More "If you are in the market for a one stop vinyl shop to upgrade an existing mid priced system the Player package is hard to beat at the price because VPI has done what it does best by getting the basics right. Add to this everything that’s on offer with an inbuilt phono stage, cartridge and headphone amp that are without compromise and the Player stands out as a great value turntable on both sonic merits and versatility.
