VPI Forever Model One Turntable

VPI Forever Model One Turntable A fully modular and upgradeable turntable system with 10" S-shaped arm Mat Weisfeld of VPI carries forward the legacy of VPI Industries with the VPI Forever Series. The Model One represents the future of high-end turntable design with its modular architecture, upgradeable components, and 10-year warranty.  The Upscale View One of the things we love about VPI turntables is that they are completely rebuildable and therefore very easily upgradeable. With the Forever Series, VPI standardizes this modularity, letting you build the perfect table for you and your budget, and opening up many roads forward in your upgrade journey. VPI follows the high-mass philosophy, creating turntables that use heavy and dense plinths and platters to reject vibration by not picking it up in the first place. The VPI sound is a match for this physical authority, blending detail and microdynamics with weight and scale.  Manufacturer Information The Model One features a fully modular and upgradeable system, blending VPI’s engineering excellence with future-proof design. A 10-year warranty reflects VPI’s commitment to quality and its readiness to service and upgrade its turntables over time.  The Model One introduces a new 3-Point Floating Suspension system designed for superior isolation from external vibrations. This advanced 3D isolation system stabilizes the turntable, minimizes motor noise, and reduces both external and internal vibrations.  Features Isolated suspension using high-tech polymer, fully adjustable for leveling Enhances sound quality by maintaining stability and isolating the platter and tonearm from any motor noise interference Easy to replace both Motor and Platter Module and Tonearm Module Available Upgrades Periphery Ring Clamp: Improves record warp reduction and the shelf life of your cartridge Analog Drive System (ADS): Improves accuracy and speed adjustment Fatboy Tonearm: Gimbal or Unpivot Specifications Tonearm Type: 10" S-shaped, Statically balanced Effective Length: 255 mm Mounting Distance: 240 mm Effective Mass: 10.4 g Overhang: 15 mm Pickup Weight: 5 g–15 g Height Adjustment: 40 mm–65 mm Anti-Skate: Yes Headshell: Solid Aluminum Offset Angle: 21° Turntable Chassis: Wood skirt with machined aluminum top plate Platter: 12" Aluminum, 20 lb.
