VORTEX 2 - INNOVATIVE HIGHLINE RING

VORTEX: The Ultimate Highline Connector VORTEX is the first clip-and-go connector for leashes and highlines. Simply thread the leash through the VORTEX, clip it into your tensioned highline setup, and follow the manual to securely knot and lock it. Its innovative design allows for walking without the sensation of being followed by a ring. The feather-light weight and rope padding help prevent serious impacts during falls. Patented Technology: Following the Highliner VORTEX is a unique ring allowing you to install and remove the leash after rigging. It can be used on any rigged highline and easily removed for overnight safety. This ring offers versatility for both beginners and experts. Inner Diameter vs. Outer Diameter As SPLIT segment highlines become more common, larger inner diameter rings are needed. However, larger rings tend to be heavier. VORTEX, with an inner diameter of 2.5 inches, keeps the weight low while easily crossing SPLIT segments. The leash rope threads around the outer diameter, creating a revolutionary sensation of walking without being followed by the ring. Reduced Injury Risk The lightweight VORTEX reduces injury risk. The leash covers 3/4 of the outside surface, offering added protection against impacts. VORTEX stays oriented with its padded surface on top, making it safer than metal rings. It also prevents harsh sliding against your heels on steep descents. Safety in Dynamic Movements Yes, VORTEX is confirmed to be as safe as, if not safer than, other rings during dynamic highlining movements. The risk of hitting the leash ring is higher during these movements, which is why highliners prefer light, padded leash rings. Top athletes choose VORTEX for dynamic highlining. Important Warning VORTEX is not a PPE device. Carefully read its instruction manual before use. It is crucial to know the correct knot to use to connect your leash.
