Volkswagen Beetle Table Lighter

This charming novelty table lighter takes the form of a Volkswagen Beetle. The car's body is fully detailed, from its rounded fenders and running boards to individually modeled door handles, window frames, and hubcaps, with black rubber tires adding a nice touch of realism against the bright metal finish. The lighter mechanism itself sits on a roof-mounted rack, styled like a period luggage carrier, with a flip-top striker cap, adjustable flint wheel, and fuel valve. Both a conversation-starting object and a piece of motoring memorabilia, this lighter would suit a desk, bar cart, or display shelf alongside other automobile-themed collectibles.  Several other table lighters available in other listings.  Located at our Los Angeles Gallery.
