Because it requires no flame or electrical outlet, it works equally well in professional settings like boutique offices, reception areas, and reading nooks. It makes a thoughtful, ready-to-gift choice for housewarmings, host and hostess occasions, or just-because moments when you want to give something both beautiful and functional. Styling Tips The matte blue bottle and golden accent complement both neutral and jewel-toned interiors, sitting naturally alongside ceramic vessels, books, and greenery on a shelf or console. Place it on a stable, non-wood and non-lacquered surface — a stone tray, ceramic dish, or tile coaster works well to protect the surface beneath. To manage scent intensity in a smaller room, start with three or four reeds and add more as desired. Flip the reeds when the fragrance begins to feel lighter to refresh the throw without adding more oil. Materials & Care The diffuser features a matte-finish glass bottle with a decorative golden accent. The included diffuser oil is 8 fl oz. To use, pour the oil into the vase, insert the reeds, then carefully remove and flip them so the dry ends are submerged, allowing full saturation. Control scent strength by adjusting the number of reeds in use and how frequently you flip them. Keep the vase on a stable surface away from wood, lacquered, polished, or painted finishes, as diffuser oil can damage certain surfaces. Store upright and away from direct sunlight to preserve fragrance quality. Why You'll Love It The Volcano fragrance is a genuinely distinctive scent — crisp, fresh, and layered enough to feel at home in a variety of spaces without being overpowering. The matte blue bottle with its golden accent is designed to display openly, so it contributes to a room's look rather than needing to be tucked away. Flame-free and plug-free operation means you can place it anywhere and leave it running without supervision, making consistent home fragrance genuinely low-effort. Adjustable reed count gives you real control over how subtle or present the scent is in your space. Frequently Asked Questions How do I control the strength of the fragrance? You can adjust scent intensity in two ways: use fewer reeds for a lighter, more subtle fragrance, or add more reeds for a stronger throw. Flipping the reeds more frequently will also increase the scent output, while flipping them less often keeps the fragrance lighter and longer-lasting. What surface should I place the diffuser on? Place the diffuser vase on a stable surface that is not wood, lacquered, polished, or painted, as diffuser oil can damage these finishes. A stone tray, ceramic dish, or tile coaster works well as a protective base. How do I set up the reed diffuser for the first time? Pour the included diffuser oil into the glass vase, then insert the reeds. Carefully remove the reeds and flip them so the previously dry ends are now submerged in the oil. This allows both ends to become saturated and helps the fragrance begin diffusing right away. Does this diffuser require any electricity or an open flame? No. This is a passive reed diffuser — it requires no electrical outlet, batteries, or flame. The reeds draw the scented oil upward and release fragrance naturally into the air, making it safe to use in any room without supervision.
