Volcano Agate Sphere A

Volcano agate forms when lava from a volcanic eruption cools and creates cavities within the rock due to trapped gas bubbles. Groundwater rich in dissolved silica then percolates through these cavities, gradually depositing layers of silica that crystallize into agate over time, resulting in the distinctive banding patterns often seen in this gemstone.
