Vodka Distilling Recipe Kit

Vodka & Neutral Spirits Sugar Wash Distilling Kit Craft a clean, smooth vodka or neutral spirit with our Vodka Distilling Kit. Designed for high fermentability and minimal flavor carryover, this kit produces a pure, crisp distillate that’s perfect for sipping, infusing, or blending. This sugar wash ensures a neutral, ultra-clean spirit that is easy to ferment and distill. Unlike grain-based washes, a sugar wash produces minimal congeners, resulting in a smoother final product. With an OG of 1.096 and a target ABV of 13%, this kit is designed to produce 5 gallons of wash, ready for distillation into high-purity vodka or neutral spirit. To maximize purity and remove unwanted byproducts, this kit includes: Turbo Yeast Classic 8 – A high-performance yeast that ferments rapidly, reaching full attenuation in as little as 48 hours. Turbo Carbon – Helps absorb impurities during fermentation, improving the final distillate's clarity and smoothness. If you’ve never used it before, be prepared—this stuff is wild. It turns your wash an inky black, like squid ink! Don’t worry, though—after fermentation, Turbo Clear will strip out the carbon, leaving you with a crystal-clear wash before distillation. Turbo Clear – A fining agent that ensures a crystal-clear wash before distillation. This kit produces 5 gallons of wash, ready for distillation to craft a clean, smooth vodka or neutral spirit. More About Vodka & Neutral Spirits Vodka is one of the most versatile spirits, known for its smooth, neutral character. Unlike whiskey or rum, vodka is distilled at a higher proof (typically 190+ proof before dilution) to remove most flavor compounds, resulting in a clean and crisp final product. Customize Your Spirit with Still Spirits Flavorings Looking to turn your neutral spirit into something more? This vodka base is perfect for use with Still Spirits Flavorings, allowing you to create whiskey, gin, rum, or other flavored spirits at home. Simply distill your wash, proof it to drinking strength, and add your preferred essence to craft a unique, ready-to-enjoy spirit.
