VMC Split Rings

The VMC Split Rings are built for anglers who want a dependable, high-quality connection point between their lure and hook. Designed with a strong stainless steel construction, these split rings are made for everything from replacing worn factory hardware to upgrading hard baits, terminal tackle, and custom lure setups. VMC positions its split ring lineup around premium materials and design technology that help minimize unwanted abrasion with knots and line, making them a smart upgrade for anglers who care about both strength and clean performance. What makes the VMC Split Ring stand out is its practical design. Current VMC and retailer listings consistently describe the ring as having stainless steel construction with a black nickel finish, along with tapered ends that help reduce abrasion on knots and fishing line. That matters because the split ring is often one of the smallest components in the system, but it plays a major role in keeping hooks secure and allowing lures to move naturally without creating unnecessary wear on your connection point. Another big advantage of the VMC Split Rings is versatility. These rings are well suited for replacing trebles on crankbaits, jerkbaits, topwaters, spoons, and other hard baits, and they also make it easier to swap hooks quickly when tuning a bait for a specific application. Tackle Warehouse specifically notes that the tapered-end design helps reduce line abrasion and makes it easier to change out treble hooks, while Omnia positions the VMC Split Ring as a high-quality component for virtually any style of fisherman.
