Ultimate Strength for Heavy Saltwater Battle: VMC 7264 FishFighter Assist Tin When big game fishing demands extreme pulling power, the VMC 7264 FishFighter Assist Tin hook answers the call. Designed specifically to upgrade or replace the hooks on your favorite vertical jigs, this heavy-duty assist hook is handcrafted to withstand the brutal vertical runs of tuna, giant trevally, kingfish, and deep-water reef species. When power is the key to turning a fish away from structure, the FishFighter ensures your connection holds true. Premium Forged Steel & Needle-Sharp Penetration At the heart of the VMC 7264 is a 4X strong, forged hi-carbon steel construction. This premium metal blend minimizes flex under extreme pressure, providing immense pulling power without adding unnecessary bulk to your jig presentation. Its razor-sharp Needle Point guarantees instantaneous, deep-hook penetration on the strike, ensuring that even the hardest jaws are securely pinned. Tailored for Metal Jigs & Heavy Line Ratings Rigging versatility is seamless thanks to an extra-wide gap that comfortably clears the bodies of standard, speed, and slow-pitch vertical jigs. The compact, short-shank profile enhances overall hook placement, keeping the point in the strike zone while preventing tangles. To handle maximum drag settings, the hook features a turned-up eye wrapped securely with a highly advanced assist braid—combining the supple flexibility of white Dyneema with the superior abrasion resistance of red Kevlar.
