Vivid Flame

The lines that draw a distinction between men’s and women’s fragrances run infinitely across the plane that is the perfume industry. While those lines become blurred in some coordinates, a fragrance occasionally comes along to bring them back into focus. Unquestionably masculine, Clive Christian’s 1872 for Men is the stimulus behind this inspired expression. Vivid Flame captures the milieu of nineteenth-century England where dapper gentlemen make hurried migrations along busy city streets. Brightly lit palaces illuminate the scene the way the grapefruit and lime in this fragrance cast their metaphorical light on the herbaceous notes beneath them. Clary sage alludes to the military tactics of Roman Emperor Nero who once used the scent to instill focus in his soldiers. Black pepper and nutmeg mark the spiciness of the heart while creating a sentiment of distinguishment fit for the modern man. This 1872 Clive Christian dupe is as regal as the crown that adorns the British luxury brand’s bottles. Igniting passion and fervor. Vivid Flame will be sure to leave a burning impression on everyone privileged enough to smell it. We didn’t give it its name for nothing. As usual, quantities are limited.
