Whether you’re running a simple terrestrial setup or managing a full rack system, these thermostats provide the control and reliability needed for safe, consistent heating. From heat mats and ceramic emitters to radiant heat panels and heat tape, there’s a model built to match your equipment and your animal’s environment. The Vivarium Electronics Thermostat Series delivers reliable, accurate control with safety-first features, flexible settings, and user-friendly designs. Choose from multiple models to match your setup, heating elements, and level of experience—from simple on/off control to dual-zone precision management. Available in three models to suit every reptile room, from a single tank to a full-scale rack system. VE-100: Reliable Temperature Control The VE-100 is ideal for enclosures that require stable but uncomplicated temperature control. It’s best paired with ceramic heat emitters, heat mats, or other non-light-emitting heat sources in single-enclosure setups. Best For: Species with low temperature variability needs (e.g., leopard geckos, corn snakes) Heat mats, Deep Heat Projectors, and Ceramic Heat Emitters VE-200: Versatile Modes for Species with Variable Heat Requirements The VE-200 supports pulse, dimming, or on/off modes, making it suitable for a wide range of heating elements and more temperature-sensitive species. Ideal for mid-size enclosures or rack systems using heat tape or radiant heat panels. Best For: Species requiring more precise thermal gradients (e.g., ball pythons, boas) Radiant Heat Panels, heat tape, Ceramic Heat Emitters VE-300: Advanced Thermostat for Species with Tight Thermal Tolerances The VE-300 is built for enclosures where temperature precision isn’t optional. With programmable night drop, high/low temperature alarms, and a battery backup, this thermostat provides full-day temperature cycling and critical fail-safes for your most sensitive setups. Best For: Arboreal or tropical species with narrow thermal ranges (e.g., chameleons, emerald tree boas) Reptile breeding operations Egg incubation requiring stable, precise temperatures Enclosures in rooms where ambient temps regularly fall below 70°F Comparison Chart Model Control Modes Night Drop Alarms Safety Shutoff Wattage VE-100 On/Off Capable No Yes 700W VE-200 Pulse, Dim, On/Off Capable No Yes 700W VE-300 Pulse, Dim, On/Off Included Yes Yes 700W Shipping Orders placed before 12:00 PM CST ship the same day FREE standard shipping on all U.S. orders Precision where it matters most.
