Vivarium Electronics Radiant Heat Panels

Vivarium Electronics Radiant Heat Panels – Safe, Reliable Overhead Heating for Reptile Enclosures Custom-designed with reptile keepers in mind, the Vivarium Electronics Radiant Heat Panels (RHPs) provide safe, effective infrared heating from above—mimicking the natural warmth of the sun. With a low-profile design, sealed construction, and multiple wattages to choose from, these panels are the go-to heating solution for enclosed reptile habitats. What makes these panels stand out? They’re engineered to never burn your animals—even on direct contact. Made from high-impact, heat-tolerant materials and protected by a self-resetting thermal fuse, these RHPs are designed for maximum safety, durability, and efficiency. Whether you’re heating a small gecko tank or a large arboreal python setup, there’s a size to match. Key Features: 🛡️ Safe to the Touch – Won’t burn your reptile, even if they make contact 🏗️ Durable Housing – 28W: Sealed ABS housing; 40W, 80W: Glass-reinforced Noryl housing 💡 Infrared Heat Output – Penetrates tissue for deep warmth, like natural sunlight 📏 Low Profile Design – Less than 2” thick for a clean, space-saving install 🔌 Clip-On Plug & Detachable Cord – Makes setup and routing through enclosures easy 🧼 Sealed, Smooth Lens Surface – Easy to clean, won’t crack, fade, or degrade 🔒 Self-Resetting Thermal Fuse – Built-in overheat protection 🪛 Easy Installation – Mounts inside enclosures with just 2 included stainless steel screws 🔌 6-Foot Heavy-Duty Power Cord – Plenty of length for versatile placement Available Sizes: 🔹 28W – 12” x 9” Ideal for small to mid-sized enclosures in warmer rooms (75°F+) 🔹 40W – 12.5” x 12.5”  Great for 2’x4’ enclosures or smaller in rooms above 75°F 🔹 80W – 12.5” x 22.5” Perfect for 2’x6’ setups or cooler ambient temps Why Reptile Keepers Love It: Vivarium Electronics RHPs are specifically designed for reptile care, unlike other heating panels on the market. They offer consistent, radiant warmth, cannot be climbed on by snakes, and don’t take up precious floor space. They’re easy to install, disinfect, and maintain—and most importantly, they keep your animals warm safely. These panels are best paired with a Vivarium Electronics Proportional Thermostat, which allows fine control over heat output and helps prolong panel life by avoiding 100% output operation. Unlike basic on/off thermostats, proportional models ensure smooth, steady heat regulation—ideal for maintaining stable basking zones and ambient conditions in enclosed habitats.
