It’s the only complete throwing system that focuses on mastering athletic plays, double play (feeds and turns), while focusing on the 3 o’clock release point. This is crucial because approximately 25% of throws an infielder makes are thrown out of the 3 O’clock release point, mostly athletic plays: slow rollers, double play feeds, double play turns, and plays made off balance and on the run. Cultural Importance: Vitilla is more than just a game; it’s a cultural tradition in the Dominican Republic. It reflects the country’s deep connection to baseball and is a way for children and adults alike to develop their baseball skills in a fun, cost-effective way. Many Dominican professional baseball players credit games like vitilla for helping them hone their hand-eye coordination and reaction time. Vitilla is a fast-paced, highly skill-based street game that takes elements from baseball but simplifies them with improvised equipment and rules. Its focus on agility, quick thinking, and coordination makes it a beloved pastime in the Dominican Republic and beyond.
