Vitamin C helps to neutralize free radicals and environmental pollutants, protecting your skin from damage caused by UV rays and pollution. This defense against external aggressors contributes to a more youthful and radiant complexion. ELAINE PERINE Vitamin C 15% Serum also plays a vital role in promoting collagen production, which is essential for maintaining skin elasticity and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The lightweight and fast-absorbing formula of this serum allows it to penetrate deeply into your skin, delivering its benefits at a cellular level. It also works to fade dark spots and hyperpigmentation, giving your skin a more even tone and a luminous glow.   APPLICATION When applying a Vitamin C serum, follow these general steps to maximize its effectiveness and ensure proper application: Cleanse Your Face: Start with a clean and dry face. Wash your face with a gentle cleanser and pat it dry with a clean towel. Patch Test (Optional): If you’re using a new Vitamin C serum for the first time, consider doing a patch test on a small area of your skin to check for any adverse reactions or allergies. Dispense the Serum: Gently shake the serum bottle (if required) to ensure the Vitamin C is well-mixed. Dispense a small amount of the serum onto your fingertips. Usually, a pea-sized amount is sufficient for the entire face. Apply to Face: Dot the serum onto different areas of your face, such as the forehead, cheeks, chin, and neck. Massage Gently: Using your fingertips, gently massage the serum into your skin using upward and outward motions. Avoid applying too much pressure, especially if you have sensitive skin. Avoid the Eye Area: Vitamin C serums are generally safe for most of the face, but it’s best to avoid direct application around the sensitive eye area. If the serum is specifically labeled for use around the eyes, follow the manufacturer’s instructions carefully. Allow Absorption: Allow the serum to absorb into the skin fully before applying any other products, such as moisturizer or sunscreen. This may take a few minutes. Follow with Moisturizer and Sunscreen: After the Vitamin C serum has absorbed into your skin, follow up with your regular moisturizer to lock in hydration. It’s also essential to apply sunscreen during the day to protect your skin from UV damage. Frequency: Follow the recommended usage instructions provided by the manufacturer. Most Vitamin C serums are used once or twice daily, depending on the formulation and your skin’s tolerance. Storage: Store your Vitamin C serum in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight. Vitamin C is sensitive to light and air, so keeping the product properly sealed and stored can help maintain its efficacy. Remember that consistency is key when using skincare products like Vitamin C serums. Regular use over time can help address various skin concerns, such as brightening the complexion, fading dark spots, and promoting overall skin health. However, if you experience any irritation or adverse reactions, discontinue use and consult a dermatologist.   ACTIVE INGREDIENTS Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate Tocopherol Capparis Spinosa Bud Extract Morus Nigra Leaf Extract Rhodiola Rosea Root Extract
