Vitality C

American Nutriceuticals Vitality C Supports a Healthy Immune System  The many health benefits of vitamin C Vitamin C is a true powerhouse nutrient with antioxidant, immune, and detoxification benefits. However, taking large doses of standard vitamin C supplements has drawbacks. Fortunately, Vitality C solves them all. Vitamin C is essential for proper immune system function because it boosts the production and activity of white blood cells. It also plays a key role in heavy metal detoxification, helping remove lead, mercury, and cadmium from the body. As a potent antioxidant, vitamin C protects key molecules in the body — including proteins, fats, carbohydrates, and DNA — from free radical attack. It also has the unique ability to recycle “spent” antioxidants like vitamin E. Two-time Nobel Prize winner, Dr. Linus Pauling, is renowned for his research on the cellular health impact of vitamin C doses that far exceed the RDA. Buffered form is gentle on the stomach Vitality C features L-ascorbate, a pH-neutral buffered form of vitamin C. L-ascorbate is created when ascorbic acid, which does not carry an electrical charge, loses a proton, becoming a negatively charged ion. This ionized form of vitamin C is the active form that participates in biological reactions. It also happens to be less acidic and gentler on the stomach, which makes L-ascorbate ideal for people who want to take large doses of C. Key Benefits:  Supports immune function Provides antioxidant protection Encourages detoxification  Ingredients  Serving Size: 1 Scoop (6.5 g)  Amount/Serving Vitamin C (L-Ascorbate C crystals with FASM) 4,000 mg GMS-Ribose 2,000 mg Other Ingredients: None.  ***L-Ascorbate C crystals with FASM, a uniquely fully-attached sodium molecule, are buffered at a non-acidic, neutral pH. This eliminates or greatly reduces the usual intestinal distress that occurs in some persons taking large amounts of Vitamin C.  ***GMS-Ribose Glycine Methyl Sulfone Ribose is a patented proprietary blend of methylated glycine, as complexed with methyl sulfone (MSM) in a base of Beet Source Ribosomal RNA with Ribose Nucleotides, including D-Ribose/Malate, BioActiv Aloe in a patented form, and EDTA. Each 1,000 mg of Vitamin C Activity provides 120 mg of attached sodium.  Suggested Use One scoop (6.5 grams) one or more times daily dissolved in water or juice, or as directed by your healthcare professional. Each serving contains 4 grams (4,000 mg) of the most bioavailable Vitamin C.  Warning: Individuals on a sodium-restricted diet may wish to consult with their healthcare professional. As this is an all-natural product, color may vary and/or a slight browning may occur, which does not affect potency or taste. Keep out of the reach of children. Storage: Keep tightly closed in a cool, dry place. Please do not refrigerate.  More Info.  Vitality C™: The Solution to Your Vitamin C Challenges Drawback  —  Pill Fatigue: Capsules and tablets max out at around 500 mg per pill. Reaching higher doses means taking multiple pills per day, which is a pain. Solution — Convenient Powder: Vitality C provides 4,000 mg of vitamin C per scoop in a quick-dissolving powder that can easily be added to any liquid. Drawback — Digestive Distress: Ascorbic acid, the most common form of vitamin C, can irritate the GI tract lining in high doses, leading to stomach cramps, gas, and diarrhea. Solution — Stomach-friendly: Vitality C features a buffered ascorbate form of C that minimizes GI irritation, allowing high doses without stomach issues. Drawback — Limited Absorption: Standard vitamin C mainly uses the glucose pathway for absorption, where it competes with carbohydrates, reducing its absorption at higher doses. Solution — Enhanced Absorption: Vitality C utilizes four absorption pathways — not just one — ensuring your body gets the most from every dose. Drawback  — Hidden Ingredients: Powders offer the most efficient way to take large doses of vitamin C, but may include up to 6 grams of added sugars per serving to mask the sour taste of ascorbic acid. They may also contain preservatives, flavorings or coloring agents. Solution — No Hidden Ingredients: Vitality C has a neutral taste, free of added sugars, preservatives, flavors and coloring agents, making it extremely versatile. You can add it to water, juice, protein shakes, smoothies or your favorite beverage without affecting the flavor. Color Change is Normal! When you first open your jar of Vitality C, the all-natural powder will appear white or beige with fine crystals. Since we do not add preservatives, coloring agents or flavorings, over time, you may notice it changing to an orange or brown color with larger crystals — and that’s completely normal! This change occurs due to the Maillard reaction, a natural process where the amino acid glycine and the monosaccharide D-ribose interact with the moisture in the air. Rest assured, it doesn’t impact the potency or efficacy in any way. Why settle for just one route to absorb vitamin C when you can use four? That’s the beauty of Vitality C. The Glucose Route: Vitamin C is naturally absorbed through the same pathway your body uses for sugar. This is the only route most common vitamin C products rely on. The Sodium Route: Vitality C contains vitamin C bonded to a sodium molecule, allowing it to also be absorbed through the sodium pathway. The Ribose Route: The addition of GMS-Ribose creates a third route for vitamin C absorption through the pentose phosphate pathway. The Cellular Route: The organic sulfur in GMS is thought to soften cell walls, providing a final absorption route by making it easier for vitamin C to enter cells. The sodium molecule in Vitality C differs from common table salt in that it does not contain chloride, the sodium form most associated with hypertension.
