Our scheduled experiences take place on the fourth Saturday of each month, starting at 8:00 am Hawai'i Time.   Don't miss out on this chance to learn, play, and engage with the traditions of Hawai'i while forming memorable connections through the timeless game of Kōnane! Cost: $150.00 for a team of two students. Includes a Pueo Papamū per seat shipped anywhere in the US after the experience is over. Q&A What does the price cover? The price covers one seat at the table for two people. Both of you get the ʻike or cultural knowledge about Kōnane and one pueo papamū to continue your journey and one spot at a future virtual Kōnane tournament to test your skills against other players. What if I don't have a playing partner at the last minute? I'm sorry, but we are unable to accommodate you. You'll have to follow along. We may have to reschedule your experience for next month. Can I still participate in this experience with my child who is under 12? Best for ages 12 and up, but it depends on the child. If your child is under 8 years of age but, as a family, you play a lot of board games, it should work. Children ages 6 to 8 tend to struggle with the strategic aspects of playing Kōnane, but it is a great way to build a personal relationship between you and your child.
