Virnig | V50 Skeleton Rock Grapple (SSL) (CTL)

The Virnig V50 Skeleton Rock Grapple (SSL) for skid-steer loaders (CTL) is a rugged dual-jaw attachment designed to securely grasp rocks, debris, and uneven loads with consistent pressure during transport. Independent dual jaws: Two jaws with separate cylinders allow each jaw to clamp independently, maintaining a secure grip on oddly shaped items and reducing slippage during lifting and movement. Two-cylinder hydraulic system: 2.0" bore and 8.375" stroke provide steady, uniform clamping force across the entire load, even on irregular surfaces. 3/8" Grade 80 steel tines: One-piece construction from tip to top brace adds rigidity, with a raised center ridge (rock dam) and tips notch to secure rocks while digging. 3" tine spacing: Optimized to grab rocks and debris while allowing dirt to separate, enhancing control during pickup and transport. NitroSteel® cylinder rods: 2" bore, 8.375" stroke cylinders feature corrosion, dent, and flake resistant rods for longer service life in harsh job sites. Greasable pins and high-strength hinges: 1.25" cylinder pins and 1.563" hinge pins with Teflon®-coated bushings for smooth, low-maintenance pivoting at every location. Hydraulic hose protection: Machine-specific hydraulic package protects hose routing, reducing wear and potential leaks in rough conditions. Replaceable bolt-on step: Laser-cut steel step with an aggressive pattern delivers reliable footing and grip in muddy, rocky environments. Open sides (optional): Choose the open-sides configuration for enhanced debris clearance and easier access in tight work areas. Inclusions for quick setup: Includes universal skid-steer mounting hoses, couplers & fittings, plus a standard cylinder guard for added protection. Multiple width options: Available in SRGV60–SRGV84 configurations, ranging from 61" to 87.5" overall width to fit a variety of loader buckets. Technical range: Overall width 61.0"–87.5", depth 42.9", height 27.8" (bucket 21.5"), jaw opening 36.1", tines 19–27, weight 950–1125 lbs, and ROC >1500 lbs. This attachment is engineered to handle the toughest cleanup tasks—from quarry rubble to construction debris—without sacrificing precision. The independent jaws and rugged steel construction deliver dependable performance, while thoughtful details like the rock dam, replaceable steps, and protected hose routing help you complete jobs faster and with less downtime.
