(Mature Size: 17"T x 28"W) Upright mound of leaves that emerge blue-green with a moderate amount of wax on the leaf. In summer the leaves lose the wax and become a shiny dark green. The long pointed leaves are slightly rippled and are held on purple petioles. The registration states that the entire plant has a violet cast. Beautiful dark purple flowers appear in late summer.
