Vintage “Dagger Chest” Topper Stage Magic Prop

Colorful stage-illusion "Dagger Chest" featuring ten metal blades arranged in a dramatic fanned formation. Each dagger has a textured blue wooden handle and a flat steel blade, all designed to pass through the central arched housing during performance. The arch is painted a bright golden yellow with hand-applied black flourish motifs and is mounted to a bold red baseplate with brass hinges. The removable daggers slide cleanly through the slots, and two blades are shown separately to illustrate construction. A small chip is present on one of the blue handles. Classic illusion props like this were used by mid-century magicians in traveling stage shows and sideshows, built for repeat performance and visual impact under footlights. Shows expected wear including scratches on the metal blades, a chip in one handle, and minor paint loss on the arch and base.
