Vintage "BEER" Reverse Foil Bar Sign

Reverse foil on glass advertising sign featuring bold block "BEER" lettering rendered in black over a textured silver foil ground. The reflective foil backing creates a rippled, light-catching surface that contrasts sharply with the heavy, squared letterforms, giving the sign strong visual presence even in low light. The panel is framed by a simple black-painted edge with a subtly scalloped border detail along the top and bottom, adding a touch of ornament to an otherwise straightforward design. The reverse construction allows the lettering to remain crisp while the foil backing shows age and variation, enhancing the depth and character of the piece. Shows moderate wear including oxidation and loss to the foil backing, most notably visible within the "B," along with edge wear and minor paint loss to the black border. Surface shows age-related scratching and patina consistent with use. 19.5" W x 7.5" H MM - 20116 - 041026 For information regarding shipping, please visit our Terms & Conditions page here.
