Physique Pictorial, Volumes 34 to 40 - Vintage 1970's Adult Erotica

Issues are listed in order by date and volume number; Use the drop-down menu to see photos of what is currently available. PLEASE BE AWARE: Starting in 1969, every issue of Physique Pictorial features FULLY NUDE models. While no one is engaging in sexual conduct, every one is fully nude, some of the models are erect, and most are still wrestling :) Another change that began in the 70's was publishing only one issue for the whole a year, which is indicated by the volume number on the cover and date on the inside (no issue numbers). Known as one of the very first American beefcake magazines, these original vintage issues of Physique Pictorial are beautiful and in near-perfect condition, directly from the Bob Mizer estate! Published in Los Angeles by the  Athletic Model Guild, Physique Pictorial exemplified the use of bodybuilding as a cover up for homoeroticism, and of course, to evade obscenity charges back in the day. Not only do the pages of Physique Pictorial primarily feature the photography of Bob Mizer, who also served as the magazine’s editor, but the magazine also debuted many iconic homoerotic artists, including Touko Laaksonen (Tom of Finland), George Quaintance, Dom Orejudos (Etienne), and Bill Schmeling (Torro, The Hun). ✦ ADULTS 18+ ONLY ✦ SALES TO MINORS PROHIBITED ✦ • Vintage 1980-1987 • See more Vintage Sex Ed here • Measures 8.25" x 5.25" - Approx. 30 Pages • PLEASE NOTE: While our original vintage publications are in excellent condition, they range from 40-80 years old, and all "flaws" should be considered part of their character.
