Vintage Crocheted Throw & Afghan (in 5 or 7 colors) Pattern

The Design “Handsome and nostalgic. At home in any decor.” When is an afghan an afghan? And when is it a throw? It's all about the size. We like a little throw for our lap or our shoulders, while an afghan's made to curl up under—and not always alone! This one's a scaled-up version of Pam Reece's crocheted baby blanket. The handsome, nostalgic stitch is at home in any decor. See how we've used this pattern! The Details FINISHED SIZES Throw: 40 x 48"/102 x 122cm. Afghan: 50 x 60"/127 x 152cm. You'll need to work the foundation row carefully, but by the time you finish the first repeat of Row 2, you'll see exactly how the pattern works. From there on out, the project flies off the hook! We love this as a special gift—start one in May for that June wedding, or when the holiday crafting bug bites in November.
