Red Vine Ripe Tomatoes 1-Pound - Organic

Sold by pound. *This product is sourced from an Organic Certified Farm. Background and Usage: Vine ripe tomatoes are ripened on the vine. They can be medium-sized or large size, juicy tomatoes perfect for eating fresh from the vine. The size of these tomatoes make them ideal for sandwiches and burgers. Can be used for Salads paired with Mozzarella. They are great for pasta sauces too. Can be used in soups, roasts, and used in combination with pretty much any vegetable in curries.  Nutrition Information: Tomatoes are rich in vitamins A and C, and full of fiber. Field or vine-ripened summer tomatoes are higher in vitamin C than greenhouse tomatoes grown in the fall and winter, and fresh tomatoes have more vitamin C than when they are cooked or canned. Tomatoes are also noted for containing the antioxidant compound Lycopene, which is considered anti-carcinogenic and anti-inflammatory.
