Vintage Turkmen Tribal Rug 5' x 3'

Size: 5 x 3 ft. Origin: Turkmenistan Circa: 1950s Material: Pure Wool This bold and beautiful vintage Turkmen rug is warm and full of character. Stepped diamond motifs run down its coral and terracotta field, outlined in dark brown and ivory for crisp contrast. Rows of small geometric flowers and patterned borders frame the design, while the softly varied colour gives the rug its lovely vintage character. A striking piece for an entryway, bedroom or cosy living space. Authentic vintage and antique Turkmen rugs are hand-knotted from wool. Each one is an exceptional work of art and one of a kind. Pictures are taken in natural light to portray the most realistic colours possible. Due to these rugs' handmade and preloved nature, slight imperfections and flaws are not defects. Our rugs are professionally restored and their fringes secured, ensuring many more years of life. We also recommend using a rug pad with a grippy backing to keep your rug in place and smooth out any shipping wrinkles. A pad helps protect carpet from deterioration and extends the life of your rug. Our rugs are professionally cleaned.
