VINTAGE SCANDINAVIAN RYA RUG 4'10" x 2'6"

Size: 4.10 x 2.6 ft. Origin: Scandinavia Circa: 1980 Material: Pure Wool  The vintage carpet was masterfully hand-crafted with the finest wool, following traditional and refined weaving techniques, and reached the Middle Ages. Its style, Rya, was developed centuries ago in Scandinavia to protect the people, especially the mariners living off the sea, from severe weather conditions. Despite its historical heritage, the antique bears an exceptionally modern design settled in the aesthetic standards of the 50s. Pictures are taken in natural light to portray the most realistic colours possible. Due to these rugs' handmade and preloved nature, slight imperfections and flaws are not defects. Our rugs are professionally cleaned.
