zaa 3'1" x 1'7"

Size: 3.1 x 1.7 ft Origin: Ardabil, Persia Circa: 1950s Material: Pure Wool This beautiful Persian Ardabil rug cushion is handcrafted from a genuine antique rug fragment, showcasing the refined artistry and intricate floral traditions of the Ardabil weaving region. The front features a beautifully balanced central diamond medallion surrounded by delicate rosettes, stylised blossoms, and geometric accents, all enclosed within finely detailed borders. Rich shades of crimson, ruby red, soft rose, ivory, navy, and muted charcoal create a warm and sophisticated palette. At the same time, the hand-knotted wool displays a beautifully aged patina that reflects decades of craftsmanship. Its classic lumbar shape makes it a timeless accent for sofas, armchairs, benches, or beds, adding authentic Persian elegance and character to any interior. The reverse is finished with a premium plain natural linen fabric, providing a clean and understated contrast to the richly patterned antique rug front. A concealed zipper closure ensures a seamless appearance while allowing the insert to be easily removed, combining everyday practicality with refined craftsmanship. Pictures are taken in natural light to portray the most realistic colours possible. Due to the handmade, preloved nature of these cushions, slight imperfections and flaws are not defects. Cushions are unfilled and professionally cleaned.
