Vintage Turkish Cicem Pillow 2'8" x 1'7"

Size: 2.8 x 1.7 ft.  Origin: Turkey Circa: 1980s Material: Pure Wool This vintage Turkish Cicim pillow is handcrafted from an authentic Anatolian flatwoven textile, showcasing the distinctive geometric artistry and symbolic motifs of traditional Turkish Cicim weaving. The front features bold interconnected diamond medallions and stepped linear patterns woven in soft camel, muted coral, olive green, and earthy brown tones against a warm beige background. Handwoven from wool using traditional Cicim embroidery techniques, the textile offers remarkable texture and depth, with a beautifully aged patina developed over decades. Its versatile lumbar shape makes it a striking accent for sofas, armchairs, benches, or beds, bringing timeless Anatolian heritage and understated elegance to both rustic and contemporary interiors. The reverse is finished with a premium plain natural linen fabric, providing a clean and understated contrast to the intricately woven vintage front. A concealed zipper closure ensures a seamless appearance while allowing the insert to be easily removed, combining refined craftsmanship with everyday practicality. Pictures are taken in natural light to portray the most realistic colours possible. Due to the handmade, preloved nature of these cushions, slight imperfections and flaws are not defects. Cushions are unfilled and professionally cleaned.
