Antique Caucasian Kuba Rug 3'7" x 2'10"

Size: 3.7 x 2.10 Ft Origin: Caucasus Circa: 1910s Material: Pure Wool This exquisite antique Caucasian Kuba tribal wool rug showcases the bold geometry and masterful craftsmanship for which the Kuba region is celebrated. The composition is anchored by a richly patterned field filled with angular medallions, stylised rosettes, and symbolic motifs arranged in perfect symmetry, reflecting the ancient visual language of Caucasian tribal weavers. A finely articulated ivory border frames the rug, adorned with repeating floral and geometric devices, while a striking outer guard in deep indigo and brick red adds depth and contrast. The palette of soft madder reds, earthy browns, sage greens, ivory, and midnight blue has mellowed beautifully with age, giving the rug a warm, harmonious presence. Hand-knotted in lustrous wool, this piece embodies both artistic precision and cultural heritage, making it a timeless collector's rug with strong tribal character and museum-quality appeal. Authentic vintage and antique Caucasian rugs are hand-knotted with wool. Each one is an exceptional work of art and one of a kind. Pictures are taken in natural light to portray the most realistic colours possible. Due to rugs' handmade and preloved nature, slight imperfections and flaws are not defects. Our rugs are professionally restored, and the fringes secured, ensuring many more years of life. In addition, we advise using a rug pad with a grip back to keep your rug in position and to smooth out any wrinkles from shipping. Using a rug pad will also safeguard your carpet from deterioration and, therefore, extend the life of your rug.
