Vintage Scandinavian Rug 4'5" x 2'1"

Size: 4.5 x 2.1 Ft Origin: Scandinavian Circa:1980s Material: Pure Wool This exquisite vintage Scandinavian Art Deco rug features a strikingly modern composition of two large circular medallions formed by dense clusters of abstract floral motifs in a vivid, saturated orange. These bold shapes float against a softly textured ivory ground, creating a crisp contrast that highlights the clean geometric sensibility associated with Nordic mid-century design. The rug's handwoven pile has a plush, inviting surface, and its playful yet orderly pattern captures the Art Deco spirit through symmetry, repetition, and stylised botanical forms. With its bright, cheerful palette and sculptural graphic presence, this piece embodies the refined minimalism and artistic confidence of Scandinavian textile craftsmanship. Authentic vintage and antique Scandinavian rugs are hand-knotted with wool. Each one is an exceptional work of art and one of a kind. Pictures are taken in natural light to portray the most realistic colours possible. Due to these rugs' handmade and preloved nature, slight imperfections and flaws are not defects. Our rugs are professionally restored, and the fringes secured, ensuring many more years of life. In addition, we advise using a rug pad with a grip back to keep your rug in position and smooth out any wrinkles from shipping. A rug pad will also safeguard your carpet from deterioration and, therefore, extend the life of your rug. Our rugs are professionally cleaned.
