Vintage Swedish Kilim Rug 3' x 2'2"

Size: 3 x 2.2 ft. Origin: Sweden Circa: 1960s Material: Pure Wool This petite vintage Swedish textile beautifully combines both kilim flatweave and knotted rug techniques, creating a unique interplay of texture and design. The central section features bold geometric motifs in shades of mustard yellow, burnt orange, cream, and black, accented by raised pile details that add depth and dimension against the flat-woven background. Framed by contrasting bands with tufted highlights, the piece reflects the mid-century Scandinavian approach to weaving, where functionality meets artistic expression. Its small size and vibrant character make it a striking decorative accent, ideal for wall display or as a collector's piece showcasing the blend of kilim and rug traditions. Authentic vintage and antique Swedish rugs are hand-knotted with silk or wool. Each one is an exceptional work of art and one of a kind. Pictures are taken in natural light to portray the most realistic colours possible. Due to these rugs' handmade and natural nature, slight imperfections and flaws are not defects. Our rugs are professionally restored, and the fringes secured, ensuring many more years of life. In addition, we advise using a rug pad with a grip back to keep your rug in position and to smooth out any wrinkles from shipping. Using a rug pad will also safeguard your carpet from deterioration and, therefore, extend the life of your rug. Our rugs are professionally cleaned.
