Inspired by traditional, woven wicker baskets, Michel Boucquillon and Donia Maaoui have created a novel and original object that charmingly plays with the shapes of this traditional handcraft. The Vimini basket stands out thanks to its sophisticated design. After being cut with a laser, the sheet steel is molded in a series of mechanical production steps that once again rely on the Alessi workshops' skill to process this metal. ##SPECIFICATION## Open-work basket in 18/10 stainless steel. Steel versions coloured using white and black epoxy resin.
