Handle: single-piece weather-proofed ash wood — one of the hardest, most durable timbers — with an ergonomic curve, a slight downward blade angle at contact, and a lanyard hole at the base. Choose 14" or 18". Throwing size: the 14" option meets the specifications of most throwing leagues; we recommend it as an informal throwing axe and general survival hatchet.
