Viking Longship Model

This is a stunning work of nautical art to the Vikings who built it and sailed it, but a harbinger of doom to those unfortunate enough to encounter it sailing toward their cities and villages. Viking boats came in many shapes and sizes, but the most well-known vessel is undoubtedly the longship. Long, narrow, and flat, Viking longships were fast, durable, and capable of navigating both choppy seas and shallow rivers. They were also light enough to be carried over land. This model is constructed of cold-cast resin and hand-painted. Includes stand for both desktop or tabletop display.  A great item to add to any collection. Overall: 12-3/4" X 10" X 11-1/2"  Wt: 1lb / 8 oz
