ViewPro A30T-50 Gimbal Camera

Quick Answer: The ViewPro A30T-50 is a dual-sensor drone gimbal pairing a 30x optical zoom EO camera with a 640x512 thermal imager behind a 50mm long-range lens, plus onboard AI that detects and tracks people and vehicles automatically. Priced at $14,699 with the Viewport quick-release mount. Request a quote to confirm current availability. The ViewPro A30T-50 is the next generation of ViewPro's dual-sensor tracking payloads. Where the standard thermal options in this class use shorter lenses tuned for general awareness, the A30T-50's 50mm thermal optic is built for long-range detection: spotting heat signatures at distances that let the aircraft work from meaningful standoff. The 30x optical zoom EO channel then confirms what the thermal channel finds. The onboard AI module changes the operator workflow. Instead of manually steering the gimbal to keep a subject in frame, the A30T-50 detects people and vehicles automatically and locks tracking while the pilot flies the aircraft. For search and rescue, security patrol, infrastructure inspection, and wildlife monitoring, that means one operator can do what previously took two. The 50mm thermal lens extends detection range over standard short-lens thermal payloads, letting SAR teams sweep wider corridors per pass. Once the thermal channel flags a heat signature, AI tracking locks on and the 30x EO zoom confirms the subject without breaking the search pattern. Security and Perimeter Patrol. Automatic human and vehicle detection turns a patrol drone into an active sensor: the A30T-50 flags movement, locks tracking, and holds the target in frame while the operator coordinates a response. The continuous 360-degree pan keeps coverage uninterrupted as the aircraft maneuvers. Infrastructure Inspection. The combination of long-range thermal and 30x optical zoom lets crews work power line corridors and industrial sites from standoff distances, identifying thermal anomalies and visually confirming hardware condition in a single flight. Wildlife Monitoring. Track animals at distances that avoid disturbance, with AI handling frame-keeping during extended observation sessions. Where It Fits in the ViewPro Lineup The A30T-50 sits in the middle of ViewPro's AI tracking lineup. Step down to the thermal-only AT50 ($6,299) if you do not need the 30x EO zoom camera, or step up to the A30TR-50M ($19,599) when you also need a 5km laser rangefinder for precise target geo-location.
