This dress is a true, EVEN black-on-black design — the bodice and skirt are the same deep black in person, just in different fabrics for contrast. Because black-on-black is one of the toughest combos to capture for web, especially for mobile (!!!), we edited these images so the waistline and fabric differences show up more clearly on your phone. On desktop, that editing can sometimes look patchy and discolored — lighter here, darker there and many shades off in other places — almost like an oil slick.
