Victorian Ruby and Diamond Navette Ring

An elongated navette face set with approximately 1.00 carat of bright old cut diamonds, framed by a halo of 52 caliber cut rubies that bring incredible color and definition to the design. The ruffled edge created by the rubies gives the ring a beautiful softness and gives the piece that unmistakable romantic French design. The combination of old cut diamonds and caliber cut rubies is always a winner, but what really gets me here is the scale and balance. At 23 x 10 mm, it has presence on the finger without feeling bulky, and the slim band lets the top do all the talking. The two rose cut diamonds at the shoulders are a subtle detail that adds even more character when viewed from the side. Crafted in 18k yellow and white gold and finished with a French Eagle's Head assay mark. A beautiful example of French craftsmanship with all the details collectors love. Size 9.25, sizable.
