A one-of-a-kind moonstone ring from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 14k, this ring feature a highly elaborate centerpiece, which is crafted around a large, prong-set 10ct moonstone cabochon. The moonstone is simply mesmerizing, displaying incredible flashes of gray and blue. The surface of the centerpiece is decorated with deep, royal blue enameling, which wonderfully contrasts the hue of the moonstone. The top and bottom of the centerpiece each feature a singular, bezel-set, mine cut diamond. Together, the diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of .30ctw, and display H/I color and VS1-SI1 clarity. The diamonds are complemented on each side by enameled swirling-motifs, and the underside of the centerpiece features incredible scrolling-motif engravings. The lovely enamelwork carries onto the shoulders of the ring, incorporating additional swirling-motifs. The shoulders of the ring also feature wheat-motif engravings, and the remainder of the band is smooth and simple. Measurements: The ring is currently a size 5.5, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 2.07mm. The centerpiece has a height of 7/8" and a width of 3/4". Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the yellow gold setting, and all of the stones are intact and securely set. There is no apparent damage to the enamel detailing.
