Natural Australian opal Luminous play-of-color Oval cabochon Moissanite accents Solid 14K white gold Made to order A natural Australian opal center At the heart of the Victoria sits a natural Australian opal, cut as an oval cabochon about 7×5 mm and 0.75 carats. Opal is treasured for its play-of-color — flashes of blue, green, and fiery hues that seem to dance within the stone and shift as the light moves. Long associated with creativity, love and emotional clarity, each opal is completely unique. It's a soft, delicate gem at Mohs 5.5–6.5, so it needs gentle care to keep it looking its best (more below). Brilliant moissanite accents Surrounding the center are moissanite accents that add art-deco sparkle and frame the opal's glow. Moissanite is a lab-created gem prized for its exceptional fire and brilliance, near-diamond hardness (Mohs 9–9.25) and outstanding value. It's its own distinct gemstone rather than a diamond, and it keeps the focus on the opal while adding all-around shimmer. Choose your metal & karat The Victoria is made in solid white gold or platinum — never plated or filled — so the color runs all the way through and won't wear off. The center is a genuine natural Australian opal, prized for its luminous play-of-color. Because it forms in nature, every opal's pattern and color flashes are completely unique. What is play-of-color?It's the shimmering flashes of color — blues, greens and fiery hues — that appear to move within the opal as the light and angle change. It's what makes opal so mesmerizing and each stone one-of-a-kind. How durable is opal?Opal is a soft, delicate gem at Mohs 5.5–6.5 — noticeably softer than diamond or sapphire — so it needs gentle care and protection from knocks, chemicals and extreme dryness. It's best for someone happy to treat their ring carefully. How should I care for it?Clean only with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Never use ultrasonic or steam cleaners, harsh chemicals or extreme heat. Remove the ring for rough or wet tasks, avoid hard knocks, and store it separately, away from very dry conditions. Are the accent stones diamonds? No — they're moissanite, a lab-created gem with exceptional fire and near-diamond hardness (Mohs 9–9.25). Moissanite is its own gemstone, not a diamond, and offers brilliant sparkle and great value. What metals can I choose?Solid 10K, 14K or 18K white gold, or platinum, from the drop-down. Yellow or rose gold are available on request — contact us for a custom quote. Is the metal solid or plated?Always solid. The metal runs through the entire piece, so it will never wear off or expose a base metal underneath. What's the difference between white gold and platinum?White gold is gold alloyed for strength and rhodium-plated for a bright white shine. Platinum is naturally white, denser and more durable, and never needs re-plating — a premium, heirloom choice. How do I find my ring size?Use our ring size guide. The Victoria is made to order in sizes 3 to 11, including half and quarter sizes. Is engraving included?Yes — complimentary engraving of up to 16 characters is included. Add your text at checkout. How long until it ships? Each Victoria ring is handmade to order and typically ships within 3–5 weeks. Can I return or exchange it?Because each ring is custom-made to your choices, please contact us about exchanges or resizing — we're happy to help you get the fit right.
