Vibraphone Effects

Click Here for MP3 Demos   [split] Soundiron’s Vibraphone Effects brings you the most comprehensive and detailed collection of playable concert vibraphone effects you will find anywhere, covering a complete selection of special articulations and extended technique, including various bowing, finger and hand, wooden, and rubber mallet articulations that take you way beyond the range of traditional orchestral and jazz vibraphone playing methods. Produced in collaboration with Pearl Drums, we’ve carefully recorded every nuance of this 4-octave Adams Alpha with gold anodized aluminum bars. This 24GB virtual instrument is perfect for soundtrack scoring, cinematic effects, modern jazz and avant garde compositions, and any style of music that calls for long-sustaining richly tonal, eclectic and lush-sounding tuned percussion. We placed our microphones exceptionally close to capture an unmatched level of deeply-nuanced resonance and character. Each preset makes creation easy with our advanced feature set, providing you with four intuitively-shapable independent sonic layers so you can build and sculpt your own sound. Each layer module includes an independent articulation selection, arpeggiator, filter system, LFO and shaping controls, as well as its own fully-customizable variable motor speed, so you can smoothly sweep from absolutely steady to total vibrato. This allows you to layer and combine multiple articulations and sound-designed textural elements to create your own unique instruments.      ► WATCH NOW Contents There are 5 distinct German Bass Bow articulations: Feathered/Flautando, Spiccato, Staccato, Marcato, Long Note and Sustaining. Each note is captured in soft and loud dynamics, with 4 round-robins per key and dynamic.   The 4 Hand and Finger articulations include Finger Taps, Finger Mutes, Scrapes and Flicks with up to 6 dynamic layers, and up to 8 round-robins per key and dynamic.  The 4 Rubber Mallet articulations include Small Hard Rubber Mallets, Jumbo Soft Rubber Mallets, Superball Riccochet Fast Bounces, and Superball Riccochet Slow Bounces. The Riccochet articulations also provide an additional ribbon microphone option that has a silky-smooth tonality to provide an alternative sonic flavor.  And of course, we’ve crafted 36 unique sound-designed elements to compliment our Vibraphone Effects, ranging from aggressive and textured leads to undulating and evolving ethereal pads, as well as plenty of classic synthesized waveforms to add even more body, harmony and flavor to your sound. To cap it all off, we’ve also included a set of 20 creative sound-designed factory presets to take the sound farther and offer instant inspiration, so you can dive right in.  The Kontakt interface includes a suite of automation-ready sound-shaping controls to give you total creative flexibility. You have control over swell, attack, release, offset, vibrato, filter, pitch (coarse & fine), articulation switching, cross-fading and layering, and so much more. This library comes with an adaptable LFO system, with selectable shape, modulation target parameter, speed, intensity, tempo-syncing and fade-in time. You can also apply your choice of 12 lowpass, high-pass and FX filters, with assignable modulation targets such as velocity, modwheel, expression, after-touch, key position and step-sequencer control. Our customizable arpeggiator offers a velocity table and control over arp direction, timing, swing, randomization and duration. We’ve included a key and scale lock system to constrain your notes to common scales and keys for easy melodic composition and live performance. The interface is rounded-out by our modular FX rack panel, with 27 different DSP effect modules that you can assign in any of 8 available slots, in any order that you wish. You’ll find classic phaser, flanger, delay, distortion, amp and cab simulators, compressors, EQ, rotator and so much more. The Reverb effect includes our favorite convolution reverb impulse responses, including 99 different rooms, halls, chambers and outdoor environments, plus another 40 custom FX impulses to radically transform the sound and open up whole new worlds of musical possibility. We’ve added a great bank of FX rack chain factory presets to get you started!   Multi-Format This library is designed for the full retail version of Native Instruments Kontakt 6.6 or later. Kontakt is an industry-standard advanced virtual instrument software platform. You can view screenshots of this library's custom graphical user interface in the image gallery above. This library is packed with features to provide you a wide range of sound shaping parameter controls, each one totally automation-ready in your host environment or Kontakt's stand-alone mode. Learn more about Kontakt by Clicking Here. This is a standard Kontakt open-format library, so the free Kontakt Player does not fully support it and can only run it in a limited "demo mode". However, the sample directories are unlocked so you can use them in other wav-compatible software, sampler and synth formats. The special Libraries tab doesn't support this open-format Kontakt library, but you can use the standard File browser tab and import this library into the Kontakt Quickload window for easy loading and navigation. This library includes presets for the free Decent Sampler engine by Decent Samples (version 1.11.18 or later). Decent Sampler is a powerful platform that offers many of the same core features you’ll find in our Kontakt presets, with a broad selection of effects, customization features and host/midi automation support. It’s compatible with VST, VST3, AAX, Audiounit, Auv3 and Standalone for Windows, Mac, iOS, and Linux. You can view screenshots of this library's DS user interface in the image gallery above. Download Decent Sampler for free at https://www.decentsamples.com/product/decent-sampler-plugin. To use this library in Decent Sampler, you can download and install the Decent Sampler plugin, load it as a virtual instrument in most DAWs or run it in stand-alone mode, and simply drag-drop any of the .dspreset files included with this library into the Decent Sampler plugin window to immediately load the preset.
