Vesuvio

Dancing Goats Coffee's Vesuvio is a masterfully crafted blend that marries the bright citrus notes of carefully selected origins with the grounding richness of chocolate and cashew. Named for its volcanic intensity, this heavy-bodied coffee delivers complexity in every cup—whether you're pulling shots, brewing drip, or steeping cold brew. Sourced and roasted by Atlanta's Dancing Goats Coffee, Vesuvio represents their commitment to balance and drinkability. The blend's molasses-like sweetness and roasted nut character create a foundation that holds up beautifully under pressure, making it a natural choice for espresso enthusiasts who want body without bitterness. Tasting NotesVesuvio greets you with an earthy, herbal perfume that gives way to warm flavors of orange zest, dark chocolate, and toasted cashew. The body is substantial and syrupy, coating your palate with a pleasant weight that lingers. Acidity is gentle and citrus-forward, balancing the blend's darker, maltier elements. The finish is long and subtly sweet, with a tangy brightness that keeps you coming back for another sip. Think of it as the espresso equivalent of a perfectly balanced dessert—complex, satisfying, and never one-dimensional. Brew MethodsWhile Vesuvio shines brightest as espresso—where its thick body and tangy sweetness truly come alive—it's remarkably versatile. Pull it as a straight shot for a rich, crema-topped experience, or use it as the base for milk drinks where its chocolate and nut notes play beautifully with steamed milk. For drip coffee, Vesuvio's full body translates into a cup that feels substantial and comforting, perfect for morning rituals. As cold brew or Toddy, the blend's molasses sweetness intensifies while the acidity mellows, creating a smooth, concentrated coffee that's ideal over ice or cut with milk.
