Versa58 Pen Scale

Add a Pen to Your 58mm Swiss Army Knife Your 58mm Swiss Army Knife handles cutting, filing, and opening. Now it writes too. The modular Versa58 Pen Scale adds a slide-out ballpoint pen with a premium German Troika refill. Snaps on in seconds, removes just as easily. No glue. No grinding. No permanent modification. Compatible with all 58mm Swiss Army Knives with Cellidor (plastic) scales. Not compatible with Alox models. Versa58 58 Pen Scale: What You Need to Know Is this compatible with my Swiss Army Knife? Compatible with 58mm Swiss Army Knives with Cellidor (plastic) scales, including the Classic SD, Rally, Jetsetter, Rambler, Midnite Manager, and Minichamp. Not compatible with Alox models. Will this damage my Swiss Army Knife? No. The pre-installed Interface Plate's spring mechanism engages the existing brass rivets without altering the knife's chassis, tools, or frame. Is it reversible? The Swiss Army Knife itself is completely unaffected: all tools intact, chassis untouched, brass rivets unharmed. Original Cellidor scales can be reinstalled, though plastic deformation from removal means the original fit may not be as tight as factory. We recommend keeping them as spares rather than counting on a perfect reinstall. What does this replace? It replaces one stock Cellidor scale with a machined scale housing a slide-out ballpoint pen. All knife tools remain accessible. What tools do I need to install it? None. The 58 Pen Scale snaps directly onto your Swiss Army Knife using the scale's Interface Plate. No tools required. Installation takes under 30 seconds. Why Upgrade Your 58mm Swiss Army Knife? Your 58mm Swiss Army Knife is one of the most carried pocket tools in the world, but its configuration is fixed from the factory. Permanent modifications can add capability at the cost of your knife's integrity. Versa58 gives you a third option: modular scales that snap on and off without tools, adhesive, or risk. Add a pen today, swap to a flashlight tomorrow. Your SAK stays intact. Your setup evolves with you. About the Versa58 Pen Scale The Versa58 Pen Scale is a machined replacement scale that adds a slide-out ballpoint pen to any compatible 58mm Swiss Army Knife. It uses a premium German-made Troika refill (model 99Z119), pre-installed and ready to write out of the box. The pen slides out from the base of the scale, writes smoothly, and tucks back in flush when not in use. Available in 6061 aluminum or Grade 5 titanium. Both variants are precision-machined, weigh 10g, and match the footprint and feel of the 58mm format. The titanium version is more wear-resistant with a distinct matte finish; the aluminum version offers the same functionality at a lower price point. Every 58 Pen Scale includes an Interface Plate, the patent-pending spring mechanism that attaches to your Swiss Army Knife's existing brass rivets. No tools, no adhesive, no modification. Snap it on, snap it off. Beyond the Swiss Army Knife The 58 Pen Scale works as a standalone tool with MagMounts (sold separately). Pair it with the Pocket Flare for a two-tool keychain setup: pen and flashlight, no Swiss Army Knife required. Attach it to a keychain, clip it onto a backpack, or keep it on your desk. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs): Versa58 Pen Scale What is the difference between the aluminum and titanium versions? Both use the same Troika refill and slide-out mechanism, and both weigh 10g. The titanium version is more scratch-resistant and has a distinct matte finish. The aluminum version delivers the same writing performance at a lower price. Choose titanium for long-term durability and premium feel; choose aluminum for function-first value. How do I replace the pen refill? The 58 Pen Scale uses a standard Troika 99Z119 micro ballpoint refill. Slide the pen out, remove the spent refill using a pliers or other tool, and insert a new one. Replacement refills are available directly from Keyport and from Troika retailers. No proprietary cartridges. Can I use this without a Swiss Army Knife? Yes. Pair the 58 Pen Scale with any other Versa58 scale using a MagMount for standalone keychain, desk, or bag carry. The MagMount uses neodymium magnets for a secure, fidget-friendly connection. Does Keyport offer a warranty? Yes. One-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. 30-day returns on new, unused items. See the full policy for details.
