Vernazza

Vernazza is a delightful linen blend that brings the best traits of your favorite warm weather fibers. Vernazza consists of colorful viscose wrapped around a core of cotton & linen.  This technique gives the yarn a dappled, marled look. The blend of viscose, linen & cotton has beautiful drape, structure & breathability. The result is a sophisticated yarn which can be worked at a larger gauge for a relaxed fabric or more tightly for structured pieces. Vernazza is a perfect choice for knitting stylish ponchos, tees, tanks, cardigans & market or beach bags. 101 yds/50 grams 50% Viscose, 25% Linen, 25% Cotton 18-21 sts and 26-28 rows = 4" (10 cm) on a US 7-8 needle/ 4.5-5 mm 16 sc and 19 rows = 4" (10 cm) on a US H hook/ 5 mm Hand wash in cold water. Lay flat to dry. For best results, wet block pieces, pinning to finished measurements.
