Using the classic varietals of Vergelegen Estate, Sémillon, and Sauvignon Blanc this wine is pale yellow-green color with a nose reminiscent of freshly squeezed lime juice. On the palate, it's tight, focused, and beautifully integrated with herbal (fynbos), grapefruit flavors, ripe tropical notes, and a long, focused aftertaste. Both Semillon and Sauvignon grapes were hand-picked, the Semillon 14 days after the Sauvignon, whole bunch pressed, and barrel fermented. The wine was matured for 8 months in barrel. COMPOSITION Sauvignon Blanc 55% Sémillon 45% Enjoy on release until 2032. VINTAGE: 2022
